I have a law suit filed just against me not my husband from a credit card.
What are the laws in Florida if they file a judgement on me and will it only affect me or can it also affect my husband too if it is only on me.:confused:

It should only affect you. It means they can attach any asset you are listed as the owner whether a full or part owner. This means that joint bank accounts are fair game.

Why don't you work out a settlement?

We are trying to sell some stuff because we have no money to offer them. I am presently in a debt program trying to build money in it to pay off people and these people know this. So since they decided to sue me we are trying to sell something to be able to offer them something. Yes I guess I need my name off the accounts.
