I wanted to know if you knew how to explain a haircut. It's a long layered cut. It's the one you see that has been cut like the shape of the head at the back, but thinned out at the bottom, almost whispy. It is the newer way to cut long layers.

And also what is your best advice for cutting a boy's haircut, when he has porcupine hair, but wants to keep it short. Other than a buzz cut. Are there any tricks that you know, that maybe I don't know, as to how to make it lay down better?

Layered hairstyles are one of the most popular hairstyle around. Layering hairstyle means cutting your hair so that there aren't two hairs of the same length. Layering can be done by scissors or razor. Longer layers is in style right now. You can achieve a whispy long layered cut by using sliding scissors technique to create flattering, long layers. It demands skills, you should let a licensed hairstylist cut your hair.

If your son wants to keep his hair short, then you should do a clipper cut on him. It's when electric clippers are used to cut hair short. Electric Clippers come with different attachments. If used directly on the head without an attachment guard, they will shave the hair from the head, leaving a very short stubble. Clipper cuts are usually done by barbers or hairstylists.
