Lump behind the right ear of my daughter - 2years old
    Hi
A lump has developed behind the right year of my daughter, she has periodically cried in her sleep with pain from this lump.
What could this lump be and is it serious

It's impossible for us to tell what this lump could be... It could be a swollen lymph node... It could be a cyst.

You really need to take her to her pediatrician to have this looked at and treated properly.

I get these all the time. They hurt sooo much. I just massage it gently and it goes away after a few days. I get them on my ear lobes too. My sister, who's a doctor says its most probably a swollen lymp node. If it doesn't go away after a week or two, you should have your daughter checked out because it could be something else. If she wears earings, take them out.

Since this is a 2 year old, I would not wait 2 weeks. Time for a check up pronto to find out what it is.
