Husband as father on birth certificate?
Hello... Everyone involved in my question lives in Ohio... I am currently pregnant (due very soon).. but the child does not belong to my husband... My question is does husband have to be listed as the father on birth certificate because of presumption of paternity?. and if so how or what do I need to do after that happens to be able to get child support from the biological father?. Also if husband refuses to be listed as father what can I do or is there any thing I can do? I really have no clue so any insight or help would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time... Sorry if this has been answered else where I tried to look for threads about it but couldn't find any thing that really answered my questions... Thank you for your time, hope to find something out soon

If you list your husband then he will be presumed the legal father. This means you can't go after the bio father for support.

Since a birth certificate is a legal document, legally you need to complete it truthfully.

The easiest way is a three party agreement to be made.Your husband has to sign he is not the father and the BF has to sign that he is the father.
