Working in NC, filing taxes for KY
    Hello,

I have been working in North Carolina since mid of 2008. From the beginning of 2008 to mid-2008, I was working in KY (Jan2008-Mid2008). However, even until today, my pay-stubs still reflect that I have been paying taxes for KY. I need to meet a Tax attorney to do my taxes, and I was worried if this can be a cause of concern.

    Please advice.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Income earned while in NC, must be reported to NC.
    2. Income earned in KY must be reported to KY.
    3. If you are resident of a state, to that state, you must report your worldwide income. So discuss your situation with your tax attorney.
