My husband is still texting the woman he had an affair with a year and a half ago. How can I trust him? He deleates the texts, but I have my way of finding out that he still does, and he still lies saying that he isn't. He says they are just friends, how can I trust him?

If he cannot see that being friends with his mistress is a lousy idea, he deserves what ever comes from his behavior.

Can he be trusted? IMO no! He is lying about even texting her. You can't trust a liar, and if he thinks it's no problem to continue to talk with this women, he is not finished with her.

This is a huge red flag waving right in front of your face. Obviously your gut is telling you what you don't want to believe. Trust your gut! It's rarely wrong. He is still involved with this woman, and you know it. Rest assured,if you let him get away with it, he will keep on doing it. What more proof do you need? He's lying right to your face!

how disrespectful? If he cheated on you and still continue texting that women than I would have love to hear what his excuse for cheating was? This man probably has fallen out of love with you, and he is probably just holding on because of the kids, you make him look good or shame.
