Im dating this girl since 6 weeks. She is very reserved. On one of the dates when we both were staring at the blue sky I asked her what she was thinking of.. she was honest and told me that she was in a relationship with another guy for 3 years. It was a long distance thing and she was getting tired of not seeing him and she called it quits. That actually hurt me a little bit then.


These days, Whenever we go on dates usually parks or scenic or beach she keeps staring ahead and sits quitely. Im guessing that she still has feelings for that guy. I can't man up to ask her of what she's thinking of. I don't want to bring up her past in any conversations.. So I don't ask her if she's thinking of that guy.. it pisses me off..

We haven't really progressed at all since date1. Should I carry on dating her? She hasn't yet dropped any obvious signs that she likes me or her feelings are changing.. Only lead is that she's been keen to go out with me every time I've asked her out. I have no other leads to weigh my feelings with..

Is she using me as "time-out" thing after her so called break up?

In a relationship talking is the most powerful thing listening and talking.

Listen to everything she has to say if it is something that you do not want to talk about and you can see she is pouring her heart into it then endure and listen hold no negative thoughts against her,

But all I can say is "time" .either when she want to talk about it or your able to ask her,

Don't just be her boyfriend or date be someone she can talk to
