    Child support statute of limitations
If child support has never been asked for, is there a time limit for the parent to file for it? The child is 14 and the parent married 1.5 years after the child was born.

They can seek it at any point. Where you live will determine how much back support they can ALSO request.

Them getting married makes no difference on it.

They may go to court anytime and ask for support, where you live makes the difference how far back, in some places they can go back till the child is born, in some only a few years back, in a few till the date they file.

What is your relationship with the child, are you visiting,

It depends on many factors there. Some states do not have limitations, other states have from 1 to 6 year.
