Hi guys
I don`t live with my mom any more because we had issues and I had to leave.now she is holding all my IDs like my social,birth certificate and she doesn`t want to give those belongings of mine.I`m still a teen,I`m not yet 18.what can I do to have those legally.

You can go down to the Social Security office and get a new card. Tell them yours is lost. Hopefully you know the SSN of your original card. This helps. You do need a birth certificate though or state id to get one. You can get another birth certificate easily enough. If you know what county you were born in you can either call them and ask them the procedure to get a replacement. No big deal. Just takes a few days or weeks and you'll be back in action.
