    Change F1 to H1
Hello, I am in USA in F1 visa and I am studying in a 2 year College. I would like to change my status in H1 or any other in order to stay here. I have a PhD degree in Applied Math in Finance from Italy. Can anyone help me in this situation?

For you to change status to an H-1B, you need a petitioner. The position must require at minimum, a bachelors degree and you must have that degree of the equivalent. Your PhD, must be evaluated to be at least the equivalent of a four year US bachelors degree.

Please note, the H-1B's are numerically limited to 65,000 per fiscal year, so most petitioners file April for an October 1 start date. So you need to line up a petitiioner now. You should find an experienced attorney for a consulation and to file your case. Hope this helps, good luck!:)
