    When do I ovulate?

    Hi,
I'm a little frustrated with my monthly cycle. How do I know when I ovulate when I start a different time each month?

One month I started the 21th, the next month the 20th, the next month the 17th, the next month the 16th and this month the 13th

I want to get pregnant but don't know when I ovulate. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

Here's a general guide to use as a starting place. Determine your shortest and longest cycles by counting the first day of a period as day one until the day before the next period starts. Then count back 18 days from your shortest cycle and 11 days back from the longest. The range you end up with will be the rough estimate of when ovulation would most likely fall for you.

Of course not every woman will follow the norm and some will ovulate sooner or later, and that can be perfectly normal as well, but it will give you an idea of when to start paying extra attention to changes in cervical mucus and how you are feeling.
