    Does he have a right
So I got pregnant and had a boyfriend and was unsure who the dad was.My boyfriend who I was with at the time stayed together with me knowing in his head its his son he was there for the pregnancy and he birth and his name is on the birth certificate and the child has his last name. The other guy is a drug dealer and has been like that for almost 6 months. He has said he is going to call chuild welfare and is accusing me of being a bad mom. If it does come down to this I don't know if he has rights cause he hasn't been there since day 1 and someone else has and his name is on the birth certificate. I hope the other guy doesn't have any rights?

Right now he has no rights, but anyone can report a suspected problem to DFS.

If he wants rights, then he has to go to court and petititon for a paternity test to determine if he's the father. If he is, then he may become the legal father.

No, if he reports a case of child abuse they will investigate.
