How do you use a dryer in an apartment not made for it!
:confused:Does anyone know how to convert or even use a regular dryer in an apartment that is not set up for it? Where would you vent the dryer? Or can you switch the big crazy plug out with just your normal house plug? This is something I am really not trying to spend a lot of money on this. I have been looking all over the internet for a solution. PLEASE HELP!!

No, that "big crazy" cord and plug are big and crazy for a reason. You absolutely CANNOT run it on a "standard" 120v household receptacle circuit.

As for venting, that is up to the individual setting and application.

Since this is an apartment there is nothing that you can do other than calling your landlord to see if he'll have the services installed for it.

Try this, I think there is a ventless kit that uses a water trap, shop around:

120 Volt dryers are not common.
