When stopping depo, many women find it can take many months before they will conceive again, other women become pregnant very soon after stopping.
If you stopped fairly recently, then it will remain in effect for several weeks. Pregnancy will always be a possibility, even if you have had the injections on a regular schedule.
Odds are the sorness you are experiencing is from your period getting ready to start. Many women will feel the same sort of symptoms right before their period is due as they will in very early pregnancy.
If it's been quite awhile since your last injection....then it increases the odds it could be due to pregnancy. See what happens when this next period is due. Give it a week to see if maybe it is just still irregular and try a test at that time if you need to.
