    Weather maker Model 58WAV-111-12 INTERMITTENT
    Hi guys

Weather maker mid efficient model 58wav-111-12 with v entor motor , hsi and fls

Could not get the ventor motor reach its tops to close pressure switch and after several attempts i got it kick in however half way the whole systems quit . When i jumper w n r at the furnace ,ometimes i get the ventor motor running sometimes not . Well i was checking the wires on the board that all of a sunnden the ventor motor kicked in and i got hsi and the furners started firing up but again everything went out .
Again atarted playing with the wires connecting from transformer secondary to the board . Sometimes it energizes 24vac to the board sometimes not . What would you think ples ?
Awaiting your quick responses . Do you think the boards is to be replaced . Thanks

Turn off power, dismount circuit board, and inspect back for evidence of burned paths and/ or melted/oxidized solder joints. What you describe certainly sounds like a problem with the board.

    Thanks for your answer .
Yes as the cycle duration finished and the inducer went on I was wiggling the 24 vac wire spade connector on the board that suddenly the inducer fan quit running and stopped . On top of that when you would wack the furnace , the furnace comes on for a while and then goes off .
Now wondering if there is a specific reset time for such furnace possibly 2 hours I am not sure . Anyway thanks for your response

The self-diagnostics of the board can initiate a lockout mode, and the timing of the lockout period varies depending on the fault detected. Also, some faults are "soft" lockout (timed/auto-reset) and some are "hard" lockout (requires manual cancel/reset by interrupting and restoring power to unit). Your most recent observations are further supporting the idea of a faulty board.
