I have been getting smells of rotten eggs from the hot water taps. The system is under 5 years old and it is a vented heating system using a santon premier cylinder, a water softener is also in operation. Please can anyone advise of a cure?

Thanks John but the Sanlon Premier tank does not have an anode rod. Any other ideas?

If this is a system that is on a well it is most likely coming from you well. I have a rural cabin that has a smell from time to time, I stop the odor by shocking the well with house hold bleach, works wonders for me.
