My ex-fiencee is trying to take my daughter
I am an unwed father and my ex told me yesterday that she is leaving and taking my daughter.. now I'm to the point where I am not going to fight to save our relationship.. but when I said that I want joint custody she said "you get nothing!" none of this has gone to court and I really doubt she will, she thinks that just because she is the mother that she has the right to just take my daughter. Any suggestions to this delima would be very much thanked. And also what legal standing do I have if she does this?

Go to court. She doesn't have to be the one to do it. You go to court and get paternity established. You will be granted visitation and there isn't anything she can do about it.

You have as much right to your child as she does.

Do it soon though... if she moves away, it becomes a jurisdiction issue.
