I received a dui. When I showed up for court on the day and time of my ticket I was not on the court docket. When I contacted the officer he said the ticket must have been lost. I received notification of my suspended license, with a form to reinstate my license. I have not been resummoned to court, or been contacted by the officer. I need to no what the legalities of reapplying for my license are. The dui was issued more then four months ago, yet I still have not had my day in court. I need to know where I stand from a legal standpoint?

Go back to the court and talk with the clerk. THAT is what you should have done the FIRST time.

DON'T talk to the cop.
