Water leaking out of over flow pipe
I have hot water baseboard heating. My power was off for 6 hours. When the power returned and the furnace turned back on, water started leaking from over flow pipe onto the floor coming out of middle of the furnace.

Is this normal or do I need to call for repair?

I figured you have a boiler and not a furnace. Usually that indicates
    A defective safety release valve.
    A flooded expansion tank
Pressure fill valve defective allowing too much water in the auto fill selection.

Now if water is coming out of the middle of the boiler then the boiler itself has problems. Looks like a repair is in order especially if it continues to leak.
