Hey everybody Here's my question; I have a 2000 suzuki srad 600 and had a problem with the red switch on the handle bar, when I flip the switch I get no kind of power and therefore cannot start the bike at all, tried jumping it, nothing. Then a couple days later tried it again and it started just fine except now my light on the gauges don't come on everything works speedo,temp. etc. Well I took it out on the highway and was riding about 10 min. the all of a sudden it just shut off on me but my lights and speedo were still on. I tried starting it by flipping the red switch back on but back to problem 1 got nothing, well after a couple of tries messing with the kickstand it finallly started and I rode it back home,but before I got home it shut off on me again with the same problem. I'm thinking it might be the kickstand safety switch but not sure. Any ideas anybody would be appreciated. Thanks

I finally figured out the problem it was just a bad kickstand switch
