Collecting unemployment in 2 different states/2 different jobs
I was terminated from a job in GA in October, 2007. I collected about 19 weeks of unemployment. I started a new job in NY in April, 2008. I was laid off from the NY job in January, 2009. I am presently collecting unemployment from NY. I am moving back to GA. My question is this: can I file for the remainder of the unemployment from GA and collect BOTH the NY and GA unemployment? If not, after the NY runs out, can I file for the remainder of GA? Is there a time limitation for me to collect the balance of the GA unemployment?
    Thanks so much!

Unemployment is paid according to the total quarters worked though a certain period. The unemployment will review both current and prior states worked.
If it includes two states, they do a interstate commerce claim.

You may only collect one unemployment according to your paid quarters.
