Hi. I own a 2004 mercury mountaineer and recently had the drivers side mirror damaged. I ordered and received a new one but am having trouble installing it. Question? How do you remove the drivers side door panel on 2004 mercury mountaineer? Have exausted all inquiries online for answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many are press fit, and may even have screw(s) under removeable panel around door handle, My Ford Van also has a plastic piece, above door panel and on the other side of the mirror, this was also press fit.
Older vehicles had a special tool to remove door handle, many newer vehicles don't have removeable handles and don't need to be removed.
