How soon after having a d&c after miscarriage do you have a period, and how soon before you can get pregnant again?

It may be just a matter of a few weeks that you will resume periods and be able to become pregnant again. Some doctors may suggest waiting until you have had at least one period before trying... others may suggest waiting for a few cycles to pass before trying. One reason for this is simply to be better able to date a pregnancy.
