    Hi,
    I have a outdoor split system heat pump YORK E4FD AND A THERMOSTAT VICONICS
    CBE-118 . It indicated code 06. I cannot find this fault indication.
    The heat pumps restart after here defross cycle but stop and goes on emergency wich activated the funace for heating the house.

    York guard system

    2 = discharge pressure over 400 psig
    3 = discharge line temp over 275 F
    4 = discharge line temp did not hit 90 F with 1 hour of call for compressor
    5 = 2 defrosts in 1 hour
    7 = OD Sensor open or shorted
    8 = Liquid line sensor open or shorted
    9 = Bonnet sensor shorted

    No 6 listed. Sure it is not a 9.

    Dang it I have no idea on the 6 code but my manuals are not here at this time. Good luck finding the 6 code.

    I found the probleme: The code 06 is probleme with plenum sensor. I change it and it now work perfectly. PS: indoor unit.
