Saving tile that needs to be removed
    Hi,

I need to remove the tile from my entryway. I want to remove it, but don't want to break the tiles when removing them, since my plan is to use it in another portion of the house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I guess no way. Tile adhesive is super strong stuff.

... but it can't hurt to try this:

    Attempt1:
    1. Bust up one or two pieces to give yourself room to work.
    2. using a dremel or circular saw, cut around a piece next to the opening.
    3. using as stiff of a putty knife as you can find, hammer-tap it under the piece you cut around to see if you can get it up on one piece...

    Option2:
Cut out as big a section as you possibly can with a circular saw - all the way down past the sub-floor, and verrrrry carefuly try to pry it all up in one piece.

Again, these are "can't hurt to try" options. My guess is that you'll find that both are iffy... and you'll realize it's just not worth it...

Just my 1.5 cents on it. Good luck with it!
