Can 83 year old have full dentures?
I am 83 years old. Most of my teeth have gone. Can I go in for full dentures at this age?

I don't see why you cant. My mom had full dentures at 90.

I certainly don't see any reason why you can't!
If you have have been missing your teeth for some time you may have lost a significant amount of bone which could make wearing the denture a challenge. Make an appointment with a prosthodontist if you can.

Yes, you can go for dentures now but if you still have some teeth, you may only need partials. The fact is as Flossie said, you've probably lost a significant amount of bone that will help to hold the dentures in place. But even if you have a few teeth left, that will be helpful to stabilize the dentures.
