Perfectly smart guy I started seeing, good conversationalist in person (though he claims to be 'shy'), but his texts and emails are minimal. At this point I would even consider them rude. And we've only spoken on the phone once.
I can't tell if that means he's not interested enoughe, or if it's just a guy thing-because I've known many guys whose can send a decent email.

What do you think? Any insights from both men and women are quite welcome. I'm starting to lose interest because of his bad communication, but would like to hear opinions.

Well if your starting to lose interest I'd leave it.

Communication is key in a relationship and if at this very early point you can see communication problems, that's a big red flag!

Dating is all about getting to know someone before you take things a step farther and it seems like you reached a road block.

Maybe you should express your concerns to him but if you already loss interest them be honest with him and move on.
