Washer moved now it overflows at the drain
    Hello,

I just recently moved and installed a washer into a new location. I washed a load in the washer and the drain backed up. I had another washer in the same location, but didn't have any drain problems. Is it my washer, washer hose or maybe my drain is clogged?

Make sure the washer hose is pushed far enough down the pipe. If it is then it could be a clog due to lint build up.

What brand is the new washer? What size is the standpipe? 1 1/2" or 2"? I just had a lady with the same problem as yours. It turned out t6hat the Maytag washer she purchased had a pump so powerful that it overpowered the system and backed up. Maytag replaced her washer with a different model and now she's fine. Any chance you have the same problem? A partial clog in your drain would cause the same systems. Cheers. Tom
