There's this guy at school that I really like and I have a feeling he likes me too and I really want to tell him how I feel but I'm afraid to do that just because of the dreaded word that starts with a n, no. I know it's a silly thing to be afraid of because rejection is part of everyday life. I also don't want to write it or have my friends tell him, I want to be a big girl and do this on my own. Any tips?

Aww, lol.. I know EXACTLY how you feel! Trust me, it would be a lot easier to just tell him, I mean wouldn't you like to know he doesn't like you so you can move on... rather than wondering? Anyway, I suggest talking to him more, flirting a little.. and see his reaction, if he likes you and you show you like him, maybe he'll make the first move. Anyway, you can always do the "little kid" thing and tell your friend to tell his friend, or something.. but I would suggest the former ;-).

My best advice is to get to know him better before jumping into the whole boyfriend girlfriend situation. Talk a lot in school, then start hangin out after school, and see where things go with it. Ive been with my boyfriend for 2 years n 4 months, and it started like I'm telling you. Don't have your friends tell him you like him because that's kind of childish, that's like having a friend break up with someone for you. Just talk to him on your own, tell him how you feel & if he doesn't jump for the opportunity to start a relationship with you, he doesn't deserve you.

He's on my bus and he's in my band class he also plays the trombone too :D

ohhh this is the same situation I'm going through now.. I kind of want to tell him on Friday but I stopped talking to him because he knows I like him so its kind of awkward.. so anyway sorry you should get to know himm a little better than ask to speaqk to him alone one day and say "i have feelings for you that are more than just a friend, how do you feel about?" then he'll respond with A YES OR A NO. Hope it's a yes :D

Become friends before you ask him out- and I don't mean text him for a couple of weeks and then jump into a romantic relationship. Friendship can take many months, even years to build up to the relationship point. If you're friends first you aren't risking your emotions in a relationshp with someone you hardly know. Also, if you cannot talk to the guy or tell him how you feel, how do you think you will do on the honesty part of the relationship? It is natural to be nervous, but you cannot always be nervous about expressing your feelings. If you can't ask the guy out, how will you start and continue a relationship with him? Believe me, the best thing to do is to start a friendship, and don't cross the "asking out" bridge until you come to it.

Look I say tell him... when you alone "hey i kinda like you" then look at him and then look down and then up then down and walk away and if a few days (1 to 7) later he tells you he likes you or brings it up then you tell him again that you like him and then you hope for the best but if he doesn't say any thing don't sweat it drop it he is not the right one.
