Visa L1A / Doing non managerial work.
I was transfer by my employer to the US on an L1A visa to work at a managerial level. I work in that capacity and after 2 or 3 years I am being transfer to a non-managerial position with much less responsibilities? Can I have any problem? What about my company? Do I need to change visa? If the company can have any problem for misrepresenting my work here, I can use that as a leverage to get another position. Thanks.

You should discuss this matter with the company's attorney.

+1. if the job duties change substantially, the petitioner is required to file an amended petition with the USCIS. You still need to be working in a managerial or executive capacity to qualify for the L-1A visa. Please note that this may not give you any "leverage" as you say, in that no other business can lawfully employ you as an L-1A unless that company has a qualifying corporate relationbship to the overseas company (parent, subsidiary, affiliate or branch) from which you were transferred. Hope this helps, good luck!
