    Why is dog bleeding?
I have a German Shepard. She is not in heat but continues to periodically bleed and I do not know why. Ten days ago she had her uterus removed by the vet and this happened afterward. I have seen blood drip out of her when she stands up and walks around. I don't know what to do. My vet has mentioned she might have a clot. What can I do to help my dog stop this unnecessary bleeding?

Anytime there is bleeding without a known cause it should be diagnosed by a vet.

We can only guess what's wrong, a vet can do testing.

She needs medical attention asap. Take her to the vet.
