My concern - and I'm sure you thought of this - is that you may very well be disappointed. If he consented to the adoption and has never looked for your husband his second family may not know about the adoption and he may not want contact.

Judy thanks, we have thought about that... his mom tells us that they put it in the paper for him to claim his son then never answered... that to me doesn't seem right... my husband wants to see him but his mom doesn't want him two... she claims he beat her.. I have asked her sisters about it but they never saw anything.. she put a child up for adoption my husband was two at the time.. she says she was date raped... but her daughter found her 5 years ago and she is so happy... my husband thinks she made up all these stories because she was see his adopted father at the time...

There was only a partial address for Johnston, RI. There was no complete listing. There was also a listing for New Canaan, CT. if that helps.
