I installed a Harbor Breeze Triton #136954 ceiling fan without the receiver; hoping not to have to use the remote.

PROBLEM
Fan turns on & off from wall switch (works fine), lights do not.

There is power to the bulb receptacles, so power isn't an issue.

QUESTIONS
Can I use the fan AND light without the remote; turning light/fan on & off from a wall switch?

Is the receiver required for the lights to work?

If I install the receiver, will the lights work from the wall switch, too?

I hope I'm not forced to use only the remote for turning the fan and lights on/off...

Does the fan have a pullchain and/or a reverse switch?

Using the lights without the receiver is not an issue, using the fan without it sometimes is.
