Sewage from the toilet is backing on the basement floor. Problem may be washing powder, toilet paper, and some foreign object. Can you help me?
I am disgusted and broke.

Hi Debra, I moved your question from PM to here.
You have a blockage downstream from the fixture that's backing up. This will continue to back up until it's snaked out and flushed away. My advice would be to call in a plumber who has the equipment to clear the clog. However if you want to try it yourself you must rent a sewer machine suitable for the diameter of the pipe that's being snaked and send it down a roof vent upstream from the blockage. Good luck, Tom
