I am new to this site and I don't know if anyone can help me. I recently started a business so the IRS says, because I am a vendor and I get a 1099 at the end of the year. I clean apartments and hallways at the place I live, stupidly I started this without a contract and now they have let me go from doing the apartments. Now I want to get other accounts with a contract and I have no idea on how to make a contract or what to put into it and do I do a proposal first. Or is the first thing I do approach other apartment communities with like a pamphlet of information of what I do? If anyone can help me on how to go about this I would be very thankful. :confused:

You've already seen some examples of people being advised in various ways concerning their cleaning business. There is now a lot of information on this site about that.

There is a search function at the top of this page. If you put in the three words, Cleaning Clough Stringer into that search function, you'll be able to find the threads more easily that way. Just about anything having to do with operating a commercial or residential cleaning service has been discussed.
