    Cat Pregnancy

Hopefully, not at all. If you are a responsible cat owner, you will get her spayed, for her own sake and for the sake of the world that is overrun with cats and kittens.

If you refuse to get her spayed, she can have 1-3 litters a year with 1-10 kittens in a litter = as many as 30 kittens a year.

Greetings and WELCOME to the site, andy cope1!

I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this forum topic area so that it will get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

It can be a little confusing when first learning how to use this site! Your question will get noticed much more in this forum topic area.

I do note that you've already received a very helpful answer above.

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

    Thanks!

Andy, is there a particular reason you're asking this question? If you decide to supply us with more information, you will have a better shot at getting more help from us as well.

I sincerely hope you haven't asked this question because you're planning to breed her as much as you can. As WonderGirl wrote, the best thing you can do for your cat, for the dire cat overpopulation problem, and for your love of cats is to have your kitty spayed. I'm sure you would never want to find out that any of your beloved cat's kittens wound up in shelters.

Again, if you would like to discuss any related issues, I would be happy to see if I can lend a hand.

There is a lot of strays at my Aunts house and the one cat (she must be 7-8 years old) has had kittens twice a year since they moved there. If not more, as soon has she had them she was pregnant again. So cats can get pregnant many times.
