How much time in Indiana does a judge have to decide which parent gets the child?I had a court case on January 14, 2009 the judge stated she wasn't going to drag her feet on this my daughter is asking to come home incidentally she spoke with judge ask to come home she is also 16 years and we live in MI... Is there anything I can do to speed this thing up?

Really it going to take as long as it takes for the courts to move on this. You live in another state and you haven't mentioned any visitation or anything with the father/mother. That could be hanging things up. What does your lawyer tell you ?
