Obligation of father to see child
I pay support for my daughter who is disabled and over 18 years of age. Her mother insists that I take her every other weekend, but my work involves a lot of travel. I cannot always take her every other weekend. Her mother has access to $65,000 for nurses and aides per year from the State. I do not. Can a judge force me to take her every other weekend? I have been doing so for 5 years, but at times my contract work takes me out of town for several weeks at a time. I have been threatened by my ex-wife that she will take me to court to force me to take her, although I have to make money to pay the "lifelong" alimony that she gets, 1/2 of my retirement, and over $2000 a month in child support.

No, a court can set up a visitation schedule, but it can't force the NCP to adhere to it.
