    Carpet Tiles on Concrete Floor
Hi we are converting a garage to bedroom. Clean, water proof with sealer , then lay carpet tiles? To help "soften" the floor and for added insulation/warmth , what would you suggest to go under the carpet tiles? I am wondering if a layer of 1/8" plywood or MDF glued down to the concrete would be a good cushion the floor and add a layer of "insulation". Your thoughts or your ideas on how to ". Your thoughts or your ideas on how to " the concrete floor would be greatly appreciated!

Do not lay plywood or MDF directly on concrete. You could lay down pressure treated plywood, insulation valve is not high but your floor isn't as cold as you might think. Put your money into wall and ceiling insulation.
