Hey my name is shawna, and I don't have a copy of my 2007 tax return. I need my adjusted gross income from my 2007 return. The problem is a friend did my taxes last year and I don't have a copy of it. How can I get a free copy of my return or just the info I need such as my adjusted gross income from 2007, to file electronically this year?

Call 1-800-829-1040 and ask for a copy of your 2007 tax transcript. It is FREE for the asking, and takes about ten days to be mailed to you.

If you need it quickly, the IRS will normally fax it to you the same or next day.
