    Cute or ugly
I have a question about dogs, are some dogs cuter than other dogs. I have a jack russel, he has the same legs and he's completely white except his ear, which is brown. Do some people think that little dogs are ugly or cute. I love my dog to death and won't give him up for a million dollars, but when I take him into town, people stare at him. Is that because they think he's cute or something.he isn't a bad looking dog. All my friends love my dog and when they come over they ask my where my dog is. He loves people, but I don't like the looks that other people give him or me.
Can somebody help me with my little problem?
    Thanks:D

Some people think Jack Russell Terriers are ugly. These folks like cocker spaniels or yellow labs. I disagree. I think they look "Unique" -- and they're generally one of the smarter dogs.

I've never been a fan of jack russells but I love palmeranians! They're so cute!

rwinterton is right though, I love labs! Not so sure about spaniels though.

I think all dogs are "cute" in their own way. I've never chosen a dog based on it's looks, only it's tempermant.

I would personally think your dog was adorable. Jack's are so unique and they just have this spunky air about them. I wouldn't worry about what anyone else thinks. If they are so blind to not know a gem when they see one, then their opinions really don't matter.

All dogs are cute if they are well behaved, I'm not talking about perfect, I mean no biting or crazy jumping. I have had a Basset spaniel mix (people always looked at him funny), a little basset and a couple of strange looking poodles. They are all the cutest dogs I have ever seen, and I would defend them with my life.

I have my own favourites when it comes to dogs, but I don't think any of them are ugly! It's all about what inside, similar to a human. If they have a good tempermant, and a good personality about them, that's what makes them so cute. Every dog has their own personalitly. Some dogs can be the cutest ones in the world, but they may have a behaviourl problem. We all know humans like this too! But of course if you give them the disipline and love that they need, they will follow your lead. I don't think there is any such thing as a bad dog, only bad or misinformed owners.

I'm wondering if the area you are going when you're in town has a lot of people that bring their dogs out. Could it be that they are just looking because they are not used to seeing a lot of dogs in town with their owners? It might not be that they think your dog is ugly at all! :)

I love mid to big size dogs... some of the smaller dogs I'm not as fond of, but jack russells, in my opinion, are among some of the cutest dogs around, big or small. Their markings can really give them unique character... and perhaps that is what's draws peoples attention?

All white with one brown ear isn't a "bad" thing, but it's a unique enough pattern that someone perhaps notices the dog and tries to figure out what kind it is... I don't know...

I love jack russells. My husband and I thought about getting one before we got our dog. I wouldn't take the looks that people give you or your dog personally. We wouldn't know any better than you what they're thinking. Just shrug it off, or smile and say hi to them. Maybe then they'll tell you what's on their minds.

I have poodles and chinese cresteds... you think you get funny looks try walking down the street with me. Chinese cresteds are naturally completely bald except for tufts of hair of their head and legs I quite often get asked what 'disease' my dog has.

It shouldn't matter what your dog looks like, as long as you love it that's all that matters :-)
