    f1 student with w2 form and 1098-T
I'm an f1 student and I worked in a company since August 2008 with school working autorization. I got my w2 form and school sent me 1098-t form. Before I worked we just filed 1098-t on sintax.com. But now I worked and I don't know how to file both form. If you help me I will really appriciate it. Thank you

On F1/OPT you are exempt from residency for 5-years. You must file non-resident tax return Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ and Form 8843. Your income is not subject to FICA taxes but you must pay federal and state income taxes.

You will get deduction based on tax treaty between the U.S. and your country. You will not get education deduction or credit.
