I have a dell 4600.. I need to reformat it,, I have all the disk,, but can't seem to get it started... any know:cool:

Throw in the disc and follow the on screen instructions.
Please be aware that this will completely wipe your hard drive and you will loose all of your data. Make sure everything you want to keep is backed up.

You may need to change the boot order in your bios. Hit f2 when the computer starts (if it doesn't read the cd) and in the bios look for something called boot sequence or similar. Change the sequence so that the cd rom boots before the hard disk (make sure the hard disk is still in the sequence though). This should make the recovery sequence start if it didn't previously.
