    Calculation of load on a beam?
    Please tell me how can we calculate load on a RCC beam when we have been given the beam dimensions and the area of steel used, th edimnsion of beam is (6*9*72) inches and we have to use no. 3 bars at the bottom and no. 2 bars as hanger bars?

    245 I'm not an engineer but I ran into a site that is a bit different but may be able to help you if it doesn't work here.

    Not to mention the fact he is out of the U.S. and cuts the liability down hear.

    Maybe there are some engineers here but until then try this and let me know how it works out.

    I'm in the trades and if the site is good I may need to ask myself some questions and get some good free advice. The person on this site seems to have some pretty good credentials
