What is the correct method of repressurizing an old metal holding tank? Once or twice a year the pressure in the house gets a little low and I add air with my compressor. Should I be bleeding air out first when I do this?

Mike, are you talking about a pressure tank on a residential water well system? If so, then something is wrong with your tank.
