I have installed at moment a version of windows xp pro and it is in german I have acquired a english version called winborg allin one and it tells me to format before inserting the disc but when I click on the hd it comes up in german telling me something about closing windows but I cannot understan can some one help me taking me through in english

If this is a legal Win XP CD, just boot to the CD and when prompted select a clean install that will first format the drive.

Tried the disc but no where does it tell me to format so I clicked do not install and it tells me it cannot overwrite german so I need to format my hard drive what do I do I need the german version removed then I can install my english version which is a full auto install I will be ahappy man once every thing is in english

What choices does it give you? I don't recall the specifics. I don't think it says format, but it refers to a full or clean install.

It says nothing like that up come do not upgrade do not install learn about assimilation ignore tasks check system discombobulation I opened it and it won't overwrite the german version so I need to format the drive so I can install this version

I had a feeling that was the case. which is why I specified if its legal.
