Hello

I have LG DVD Writer it was reading all kinds of CD & DVD's but now it reads all DVD's but don't read except a few number of CD's.
My DVD writer writes successfully CD's & DVD's

What is the solution for not reading the CD's.

Most of this time (99%) this is a driver issue. I would recommend installing the most recent drivers for the writer.

If this does not work. Consider the fact it might have failed. Replacing it is an option seeing as the LG drives run around $45.00. If the drive failed I would try and find an underlying cause, malfunctioning power supplies can destroy components. Most don't die for no reason.
