First, tell us what kind of shower pan you plan on installing and what kind of base / floor it will sit on...

You do realize that you will have to jackhammer up the cement and cut a fitting into the main for a trap don't you? In addition to that the shower will have to have a vent run out the roof or revented back into a existing attic roof vent.
If you have a floor drain that's close to a wall I can save you a lot of hassle. Still want to install a basement shower? Regards, tom
