Starring Burt Reynolds... can only remember this scene... Burt is is a lady's apartment. Her partner (I thinks) returns unexpectedly and Burt hides in closet with a small dog. Somehow the dog becomes attached/stuck to Burt's hand or arm and when he leaves the dog still attached - even when he is driving.
