Time limit for turning time sheet in California?
Simply put - I worked for a company in February 2008. I got a different job in March 2008. When putting together my receipts at the end of the year I realized I had not turned in my time sheet for the work in February. I submitted the time sheet in January 2009. They have responded that they will reimburse me for the expenses on my report but not pay me the wages because too much time had passed.

    Any recourse here? Thanks.

    Hello B:

    Sure. SUE 'EM.

Debts don't expire because they get old! What's the difference between your expenses and your wages?? If they don't have to pay ONE because it old, why not the other? Makes NO SENSE.

    Did I mention SUING THEM??

PS> Yes, there's a statute of limitations that prevents COLLECTION after a certain period, but it does NOT erase the debt.
